Education

Throughout the year the club runs several education programs including a series of classroom seminars and practical driving weekends. It also runs day presentations from time to time on all aspects of four wheel driving including recovery, equipment, vehicle preparation, map / GPS reading and how to run trips. The classroom seminars are run by several of the clubs Four Wheel Drive Association accredited-educators.

Education weekends are run by the same qualified educators with the purpose of getting to know your vehicle better, both mechanically and also off-road, learning new driving techniques and generally develop awareness about off-road driving, touring and the running of the club. Each participant is awarded a certificate of participation at the completion of the course. These weekends also offer the chance for newer members to ask questions about off-roading, vehicle setup and general driving tips.
