We highly value our members involvement in Club activities and recognising active participation through an Annual Awards Presentation.

The current Awards descriptions are listed below – recognising our club’s motto of “Friendship, Four Wheeling and Fun”.

A Nomination Form is available below to current club members to nominate any club member for any of the listed awards. You need to be logged in to make Nominations.

Club members can submit nominations to one or any number of the awards listed below. Simply complete the nomination form again to record multiple nominations.

The more information you can provide when nominating a club member assists the Award Committee gaining an understanding of your nomination.

Just a Bit of Housekeeping

The awards are based on a calendar year, but you can nominate the person at any time during the year. Members are welcome to enter nominations into each category.

There is an Awards Committee who confidentially collates the award nominations based on the information club members provide,

The Awards Ceremony is generally held at a highly social weekend early the following year.

Club Awards Nomination

The Trip Leader Of The Year Award is made to the person who either runs or assists in running the most enjoyable 4WD trips in the year. They can be long or short trips.

The President's Encouragement Award is awarded to a member who has shown exceptional club involvement. The recipient of the President's Encouragement Award is nominated by the president. 

The member should be a member for two years standing or less which is the two calander years prior to the year the award is presented.

Your nomination is requested to assist our President.

The Most Improved Driver is awarded to the member who’s driving has most noticeably improved during the year. The nomination for the Most Improved Driver is made by the Driver Training Officer. Your nomination will be considered as part of their deliberation.

The Club Member Of The Year (Fred Dyke Founder Trophy) - This is the highest accolade of all. For members of the club who have been involved in many aspects of the Club over many years.

The Outstanding Effort Award is awarded to members who have made an outstanding effort for the Club by being heavily involved with many aspects of the Club.
