Maroon Dam and Christmas party weekend

Maroon Dam Social Event is on again and this year we are having our CHRISTMAS PARTY at the same time , Yes we are combining the two to have even more fun and friendship. A weekend of fun, food and lots of water activities and Santa hopefully on a Jetski!    So..bring your Christmas decorations, your Christmas spirit and all the water toys you can find...like a Kayak, Paddle board, Tinnie,  Powerboat, Jetski, Steamboat or  any other inflatable or whatever floats your Boat... of course i will bring my Jetski and some tubes and waterski's for people who want to give that a go with Captain Jack and Captain Anthony at the helm! Hopefully we will have some more volunteers with boats or jet ski's to give people the time of their live (HINT)

This will be another unforgettable trip to Maroon Dam, including the arrival of Santa !!,  Christmas Dinner or maybe Lunch  more details to follow..

Arrive on Friday (check in 2 pm unless pre-arranged) or even Thursday (for that deserved extra night) and enjoy 2 nights (or 3 ) for a great social weekend away from home. We have secured the whole Maroon Cove Camping ground provisionally. To keep the whole area, we need large numbers booked in with Kylie early to justify this, or she will condense our group and sell some sites to others, so PLEASE book in early with Maroon Camp Area, so lots of room to bring your caravan (sloping campground, bring levellers etc), trailer) tent or Swag and some firewood to sit around the fire at night and reminisce about all the adventures we had during the day.

please bring a present labeled for each of your child/children max value $30.00 (or grown up) so Santa (Brad) can have a good time handing them out!

There are toilets and showers, but  Our campground has no power,  there are a couple of sites near the office (away from our camp site) with power if you really need that.  

Check out on Sunday stricktly 10 am but we can use day area to park and play all day.                          

please bring drinking water as the campgrounbd only runs on Bore water.

please include in email to Kylie... Dates of stay, number of people, mobile phone number and tell her you are with Toyota club in the Maroon Cove Camping grounds. 
Unfortunately they now only allow camping guest to use day area...no day visitors anymore....a solution for this would be just joining us for the whole weekend ortherwise you will have to book one night of camping to join the fun.

How to get there....address: 535 Burnett creek road Maroon. 
Once you are on Boonah Rathdowney road...go past right hand turn to council day use area and drive a bit further and turn right at Burnett Creek road. There is a sign for Maroon campground, but some people last year missed it and got lost.
