Sand Driving Course-Cancelled insufficient bookings & Weather

The weekend is for families and all drivers in the car. Each driver can participate

The course starts on Saturday morning with a talk about important issues for sand driving like tyre pressures and tides. We then move to the beach for some practical teaching and practice. We will have morning tea at the caravan park and lunch on the beach. We will drive up Cooloola beach and then back to the caravan park. The afternoon is pretty relaxed. You might want to do some fishing or swimming or swim in the pool at the caravan park. We usually have dinner at the bistro and book a big table so those who want to eat there can join in. 

Sunday we will drive up to Rainbow beach if the beach is open. There is usually time for a swim at Double island Point.

We stay at Noosa North Shore Retreat  Stay - BIG4 Noosa North Shore. in the caravan park. There are other parks nearby with similar names, so please ensure you are in the right one when you book.

You will need a vehicle permit for the driving on the beach available at : book.parks.qld.gov.au. We will be driving on Cooloola beach.
