Campfire Cooking and Star Gazing
Join us for a relaxed, social weekend gathered around the campfire. It’s the perfect chance to learn new campfire cooking skills—or share your knowledge with others.
On Saturday, we’ll be hosting a damper and scone cook‑off, and we’re looking for a few volunteers to help with judging. Bribes will be accepted.
That evening, enjoy a communal potluck dinner with plenty of food to go around. Cook a dinner or dessert over the fire and show off your campfire creativity. And if your dish doesn’t turn out quite as planned… don’t worry—the dark keeps all secrets!
After dinner, settle in as the campfire grows and the stars begin to shine. Bring a telescope or use a stargazing app on your phone to explore the night sky with friends.
There is a small cost for camping at Brooklyn, $10 / head per night which is paid to Terry the Landowner and long term supporter of TLCC.
Dogs welcome with owners on leads.
