Maroon Dam social event

Maroon Dam Social Event is on again for some fun and friendship. A weekend of sunshine, food and lots of water activities and hopefully, Jack’s Jetski won’t break down this year! So bring all the water toys you can find...like a kayak, paddle board, Tinnie, Powerboat, Jetski, Steamboat or any other inflatable water toy or whatever floats your boat... of course i will bring my Jetski and some tubes and waterski's for people who want to give that a go with Captain Jack and Captain Anthony at the helm! Hopefully, we will have some more volunteers with boats or jetski's to give people the time of their lives (HINT)

We might (to be approved) even put a sausage sizzle and bread lunch on the Saturday and have leftovers on Sunday.

This will be another unforgettable trip to Maroon Dam, and as attendance numbers go beyond expectations every year….this year will hopefully be even more memorable.

Arrive on Friday (check in 2 pm unless pre-arranged) or even Thursday (for that deserving extra night) and enjoy 2 nights (or 3) for a great social weekend away from home. We have asked Kylie from Lake Maroon Campground to keep us some good spots to camp and the earlier you book the better, so Kylie might just keep the whole campground for us again if there is enough interest. 

In a nutshell…….PLEASE book in early with Kylie at Lake Maroon Campground, and just mention you are with the Toyota club. There is lots of room to bring your caravan (sloping campground, bring levellers etc), trailer, tent or swag and some firewood to sit around the fire at night and reminisce about all the adventures we had during the day.

Office hours: 8.30-12 and 2-5.30 pm (early check-in to be discussed with Kylie). Check-in available until 7.30 on Friday. There are toilets and showers, but our campground has no power. There are a couple of sites near the office (away from our camp site) with power if you really want that.  

Check out on Sunday strictly 10am but we can use the day area to park and play all day. Please bring drinking water as the campground only runs on Bore water.

Please include in an email to Kylie... Dates of stay, number of people, mobile phone number and tell her you are with the Toyota club in the Maroon Cove Campground at Lake Maroon Camping grounds. 
Unfortunately, they now only allow camping guests to use the day area...no day visitors anymore.... A solution to this would be to just join us for the whole weekend, otherwise you will have to book one night of camping to join in all the fun and excitement.

How to get there....address: 535 Burnett Creek Road, Maroon. 
Once you are on Boonah Rathdowney road...go past the right-hand turn to council day use area and drive a bit further and turn right at Burnett Creek road. There is a sign for Maroon campground, but some people last year missed it and got lost.
