Vehicular Orienteering / NAVRUN

Enjoy a nice, stress-free day out exploring the picturesque Brooklyn property, taking the opportunity to put your Map and Compass skills into practice.

This time around, we're making the navigation, driving and waypoint recording a bit more challenging – this year it's 2 vehicle teams. So, find a buddy and sign on.

Still working out whether it'll be morning and afternoon "heats" or an all-day affair, that will depend on the results of the recce the weekend before. 

There will be some prizes on offer.

Bring your favourite compass (if you have one), pencil and ruler (and probably eraser), and your sense of humour. We will have some equipment available, and will supply paper maps for the event.

We will be staying at Camp 1, arriving from Friday afternoon. The campfire on Saturday night will be an opportunity to brag/complain about how well you did. Camping fees $20/per person/per night

There's plenty of room for caravans/campers in Camp 1. You'll need to be self-sufficient for food/water/accommodation. Camp 1 has toilets, hot (usually) showers and a camp-kitchen.
