Xmas Party 2026

Well, the date is set, and the location is confirmed where? Are we going, you ask, back to Janowen Hills 4x4 Park. Santa knows where it is and Owen usually cooks us a great meal for Saturday Night the fees are reasonable and everyone's fur babies are welcome. 

Dinner will be a 3-meat BBQ with sides/salads and dinner rolls. The club and sponsors are subsidising all meals, so an adult ticket is $15.00 dollars, children 5–12 are $10.00 and under 5 are free. Please book a ticket for each adult and child having a meal and if attending with no meal please book that ticket, so we can track numbers. Dinner will be held under the new shade structure at campground 4, tables supplied but you will need to bring a chair each. Don't forget your Desert for pot luck

We are camping in Tranquillity campground down by the creek (which will hopefully have some water in it for a swim) and dinner and Saturday afternoon activities will be up top by the cabins and powered sites. If you want a powered site or a cabin, get in early as they are limited, just call Janowen and tell them your with TLCCQLD and secure your space all bookings & payments, even unpowered, must be done direct by Janowen https://janowenhills.com.au/contact-us/ or https://janowenhills.com.au/

TIPS FOR THE TRIP

• We are asking everyone to bring a dessert for a pot luck dessert table after dinner, as it is just the best you can have with all the choices. We will ensure there is ice cream, cream and custard available to go with any desserts needing it.  
• If you have children, please bring a wrapped and named present up to $25.00 for each child and discreetly hand it to Jack or me, so Santa can hand it out on Saturday.
• Arrive on Friday afternoon, evening or Saturday morning, pay at the camp office and proceed to the campground. 
• Saturday morning we will have some volunteers to lead a trip or 2 around Janowen.
• Saturday afternoon kids activities, adult refreshments, a swim in the creek, Santa arrives, adult refreshments, nibbles, swim in the creek, evening dinner, adult refreshments, pot luck desert, campfire and life discussions 
• Sunday morning a bit more driving
